The Saturdays – Scarborough
Open Air Theatre date change
Due to a scheduling conflict, the date of
The Saturdays’ Scarborough Open Air Theatre show has been brought
forward 24 hours.
The all-female multi-platinum selling band
will now perform at the open air theatre on Friday 23
August.
The Saturday’s management team has
apologised for any inconvenience caused by the date change.
In a statement they said: “Team Sats UK!
Due to scheduling conflicts we’ve had to bring the date of our
Scarborough Open Air Theatre show forward by one day. The show
will now take place on Friday August 23. We apologise for
any inconvenience caused. We hope everyone can make the new date
and we’ll get to see you all down the front on August 23!
Tickets are still available from Ticketmaster so buy
yours now before they’re all gone!”
Scarborough Borough Council says tickets
already bought will still be valid on the new date. For those
people unable to make the show, full refunds are being offered; for
tickets bought locally, the booking fee will also be refunded.
Cllr David Chance, the council’s Cabinet
Member for Tourism and Culture, said: “The change of date is due to
circumstances not in our control – we hope everyone will still be
able to make the new date and make it another fantastic night to
remember at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.”

band has become a household name in the UK with 11 Top 10 singles

‘Headlines’). Renowned for their energetic live performances, band
members Rochelle, Una, Frankie, Mollie and Vanessa have clocked up
three nationwide headline tours to date, including the 2011 All
Fired Up arena tour.
The band has also become unavoidable on
screens across the nation, not least as part of its own
fly-on-the-wall television shows, ‘The Saturdays 24/7’ and ‘What
Goes On Tour’.
