Out and About
Wykeham

Wykeham is located on the A170 Scarborough to Pickering road, about seven miles from Scarborough. The village has the vibrant feel of a living, working community. Between Wykeham and the nearby village of Ruston, are many small outlets and attractions including a clothing shop, a craft and tea shop, an antiques shop and superb fishing and sports lakes.

The church is another beautiful feature of Wykeham. St Helen’s and All Saints is unusual as the church tower and spire are separate from the rest of the building. The church was completed in 1853 and was designed by architect William Butterfield.
